About The Position

JCPenney Salon is seeking a licensed Esthetician to consult with clients, assess their beauty needs, and provide appropriate skin care and hair removal services. The role focuses on building trusted client relationships, listening to clients, and educating them about services and products that support their goals.

The Esthetician provides facials, extractions, cleansings, and other non-invasive skin treatments, as well as hair removal services. The position also involves keeping the assigned area clean and maintaining sanitation and sterilization standards under applicable laws and company policies, while ensuring the treatment room is stocked and maintained. Estheticians also work with salon designers to identify prospective clients who may benefit from their services.

Pay is commission-based and designed to reward personal achievement and contribution to the salon’s success. The posting lists a pay range of USD $15.15–$16.00 per hour, 50–70% commission on service sales, and 10% retail commission with a service. Commission depends on credential level, productivity, and service sales.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed beauty professional/Esthetician.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess beauty needs and recommend appropriate skin care and hair removal services.
• Build trust and comfort with clients by listening and educating them about services and products.
• Provide facials, extractions, cleansings, and other non-invasive skin treatments.
• Provide hair removal services.
• Keep the assigned work area clean and meet sanitation and sterilization standards set by law and company policies and procedures.
• Keep the treatment room stocked and maintained.
• Partner with salon designers to identify prospective clients who may benefit from esthetic services.
