About The Position

A Salesperson is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by guiding clients through the vehicle buying process with professionalism and strong communication skills. This role involves prospecting new customers, selling new and used vehicles, gathering customer information, and following up to ensure satisfaction, referrals, and repeat business. The Salesperson serves as the main point of contact for customers and reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with using social media platforms as business tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain consistent daily activity and follow-up.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Related experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Pass Background Check
  • Pass Drug Test
  • 21 Years-Old or Older

Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete all manufacture trainings, requirements and maintain a thorough command of product knowledge.
  • Greet each customer promptly and courteously within two (2) minutes of their arrival at the dealership.
  • Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Conduct a demonstration drive for every customer.
  • Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all sales department paperwork accurately prior to submitting it to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Finance Manager, prep team and service department to ensure customer satisfaction during and after the sale.
  • Personally deliver each vehicle to the customer, reviewing all the manufacturer’s delivery procedures (maintenance schedules, features, owner’s manual, warranty schedules, etc.).
  • Maintain an ongoing prospecting system.
  • Actively participate in the BDC, Internet, and Social Media Operations. Must achieve a minimum of 2 appointments per day, 20 calls per day, and completes daily CRM checkout reports.
  • Establish and maintain a customer record and follow-up system.
  • Answer sales calls for the sales department, set up appointments.
  • Always Maintain a professional Attitude and Appearance.
  • Keep assigned office area and desk clean.
  • All other duties as assigned.
