About The Position

Enterprise Architects go beyond designing IT systems to deliver business change, which may also be supported and enabled by IT. They define services from a business perspective, both with and without automation. They make an initial grouping of services in components, using principles based on business objectives and constraints. They have deep business and industry expertise, are familiar with industry standards and can work at the boardroom and senior management level. Enterprise Architects define and ensure a comprehensive and coherent view across Business, Information, Systems and Technology. They go beyond designing IT systems to deliver business change, which may also be supported and enabled by IT.

Requirements

  • Hands-on post‑order experience across fulfillment, shipping, payments, returns, refunds, and customer visibility.
  • 5-10+ years of Salesforce experience.
  • Strong Salesforce Order Management expertise.
  • Architectural and integration skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce architect certifications.
  • Commerce Cloud experience.
  • Background in high‑volume retail or consumer operations.
  • Focus on real post‑order complexities such as fulfillment mismatches, payment issues, tracking failures, and operational visibility challenges rather than simple order configuration.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver scalable, enterprise-level order lifecycle solutions using Salesforce Lightning Order Management and a wide ecosystem of integrated systems.
  • Lead technical and functional decisions.
  • Manage complex integrations with systems such as WMS, ERP, payment gateways, and carriers.
  • Ensure data consistency across commerce, service, and operations.
  • Create end‑to‑end order lifecycle architectures.
  • Design event‑driven and API‑based integrations.
  • Enable post‑order customer experiences like shipment updates and RMAs.
  • Provide technical leadership across Apex, Flows, Platform Events, and CI/CD.
  • Guide cross‑functional teams.
  • Run workshops.
  • Translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
