The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Lead will formulate and define system scopes and objectives within information technology to meet user needs. This role requires understanding application systems and industry requirements to devise or modify procedures that address complex problems. The Lead will analyze business and user needs and follow through the full development life cycle, including feasibility studies, project charters/statements of work, implementation, communication, testing, change management, and training strategies. The position involves modifying, maintaining, and updating complex Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) configuration and program routines, solving highly technical and complex problems on multiple projects, and providing consultative support to internal staff. The Lead will also educate others on the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by SFMC modules or other application systems, and define, test, train, implement, and support functional areas within SFMC or other application systems. This role may involve managing projects with large budgets or extended durations, including project plan, scope, risk, and resource management. The Lead may also act as a team leader for large project teams and be responsible for multi-year planning to determine broad direction, prioritize projects, and evaluate ROI within a functional sub-area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Solution Developer or Architect, or in a related/similar position.
  • 5 years in Salesforce Configuration and Coding.
  • 5 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administration.
  • 5 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Customization with Ampscript and Server Side JavaScript.
  • 5 years in segmenting Data Extensions using Automation Studio and SQL queries within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • 5 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Integration with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud.
  • 5 years in creating landing pages and forms using CSS/HTML/JavaScript within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications required: Email Specialist, Developer, Administrator, Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and define system scopes and objectives within information technology to meet user needs.
