About The Position

Trimble is looking for a passionate problem-solver to serve as their Salesforce Marketing Cloud Functional Application Architect. In this role, you will drive the functional vision that connects digital engagement with real-world impact across global networks, ensuring seamless, scalable customer journeys. You will be at the forefront of developing enterprise-level marketing automation solutions, directly influencing global customer engagement and shaping the future of supply chain and industrial technology. You will bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical execution, serving as the ultimate functional authority to orchestrate highly scalable, multi-channel customer journeys on a global scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of deep expertise within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a dedicated focus on architecting Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Mastery of core platform modules including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
  • Proven track record of translating complex business requirements into scalable, reusable functional designs and data models.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with globally distributed teams within an agile framework using Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of marketing data flows, integration strategies, and privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or Architect certifications.
  • Practical experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, advanced segmentation, and AI-driven features like Einstein.
  • Familiarity with AMPscript, SQL, and multi-channel campaign orchestration across email, SMS, push, and web.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the end-to-end functional design and architecture of high-impact Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
  • Translate high-level business epics into technical blueprints and well-defined user stories to guide agile delivery teams.
  • Govern critical marketing data models, segmentation frameworks, and integration flows between Marketing Cloud, enterprise CRMs, and external platforms.
  • Act as the strategic functional interface connecting global domain owners, solution architects, and marketing stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Champion system health and performance optimization by providing expert guidance on campaign orchestration, data compliance, and platform best practices.
