Accenture•St. Louis, MO
•$80,400 - $266,300

About The Position

Accenture is hiring a Salesforce Functional Architect Manager to support Wealth Management programs within its Financial Services Salesforce Business Group. The role operates between architecture and execution, translating senior architects’ designs into delivery-team solutions. The position supports end-to-end solution design across assigned workstreams, owns solution design documentation, leads technical workstreams, and helps ensure architecture remains sound throughout the program lifecycle. The role focuses on Salesforce Data 360, Agentforce, and Financial Services CRM platforms. It includes designing and delivering Agentforce use cases and integrations among Data Cloud, CRM, external data sources, and Agentforce capabilities. The architect connects functional requirements with technical delivery, aligns architects, developers, and client stakeholders, and leads design sessions, code reviews, and deployment governance. The role also involves mentoring technical team members, contributing to pre-sales work, pursuing relevant Salesforce certifications, and supporting reusable assets and Wealth Management AI patterns for the practice.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of Salesforce delivery experience, with exposure to both functional and technical dimensions of implementation work.
  • At least 3 years of experience working on projects using Agile, hybrid, or Scrum delivery frameworks, with comfort in sprint-based delivery environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting Wealth Management clients.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of at least 12 years; candidates with an Associate’s degree must have at least 6 years of work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience contributing to at least one full-lifecycle Salesforce implementation in a functional, technical, or hybrid role.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) designation.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) through project exposure, self-study, or certification pursuit.
  • Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder certification.
  • Exposure to integration concepts and tools such as REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or Salesforce Connect, sufficient to participate in integration design discussions.
  • Experience with AI/ML tools or platforms such as Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or generative AI tools, and an emerging understanding of applying AI capabilities within Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience working across both functional configuration and technical development on the same engagement.
  • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment, including at a junior level.
  • Multi-shore delivery experience or comfort working across distributed teams and time zones.
  • Active interest in progressing toward a Solution Architect career path, evidenced by certification progress, internal contributions, or self-directed learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end solution design across assigned workstreams, including data models, integration patterns, security models, and platform configuration, under the guidance of a senior Solution Architect or Technical Architect.
  • Keep solution design documents (SDDs), architecture decision records, and data flow diagrams current throughout delivery.
  • Own the technical design and build for Agentforce use cases across active Wealth Management programs.
  • Design and implement integrations between Data Cloud, CRM, external data sources, and Agentforce capabilities.
  • Make architecture tradeoffs among middleware and integration options, including MuleSoft, REST/SOAP, and Salesforce Connect.
  • Connect functional requirements with technical delivery and align architects, developers, and client stakeholders on design decisions and scope boundaries.
  • Lead design sessions, code reviews, and deployment governance; manage solution risks, design gaps, and cross-workstream dependencies; and escalate proactively.
  • Guide and mentor technical leads and set technical standards across the team.
  • Pursue Salesforce certifications relevant to the Solution Architect career path and contribute to practice development by documenting lessons learned and reusable assets.
  • Support estimation, scoping, and staffing discussions during pursuit phases; contribute to architecture sections of RFP responses and oral presentations.
