Salesforce Developer
About The Position
The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform to support client management and daily business operations. The role includes building scalable solutions, integrating Salesforce with external systems, and ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. The developer will collaborate closely with administrators and stakeholders and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing solutions through implementation, testing, and deployment. The position is remote and requires availability to work US Eastern Time (ET).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in software development.
- Salesforce certification, such as Platform Developer I or II, or App Builder.
- Experience with S-Docs, S-Sign, and ShareConnect platform tools.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce development and administration, including Salesforce Lightning, Sales Cloud, and related platform features.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce development tools.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.
- Experience with Salesforce integration and data migration tools.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work US Eastern Time (ET).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Process Builder.
- Some basic programming experience.
- Flexibility to assist with and learn other programs and applications that interact with Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and related technologies.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain, enhance, and support existing Salesforce applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs and web services, including ShareConnect, S-Docs, and S-Sign.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, business stakeholders, and other developers to identify and implement system improvements.
- Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce security, development, and governance best practices.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and recommend enhancements to existing implementations.
- Assist with and learn other programs and applications that interact with Salesforce.
