About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with experience in Apex, API Integration, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled/Batch classes, REST, SOAP, OAuth, SSO, Azure DevOps, GIT, Jenkins, ANT, Force.com, ETL, Agile, Bootstrap, Lightning, AngularJS, and jQuery. This is a hybrid/local role located in Lansing, MI (DTMB) with a duration of 12+ months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software architecture and Salesforce development, with a preference for those holding Certified Platform Developer I or II credentials.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development/testing experience using Salesforce Apex in an enterprise software architecture environment.
• 1+ year of API Integration experience.
• Hands-on development experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations with Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes.
• Experience building integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign-On.
• Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle and DevOps Tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Thorough understanding of Salesforce Deployment Process and tools such as ANT, Change Sets, and Force.com IDE.
• Experience with ETL tools.
• Experience utilizing Agile processes, principles, and techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Salesforce.com certified in Certified Platform Developer I or Certified Platform Developer II.
• Development experience in UI technologies such as Bootstrap, Lightning Design System (LDS), Lightning Components Development, AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript.
• Experience in training/mentoring a junior developer.
• Experience/understanding of the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test Salesforce solutions using Apex in an enterprise software architecture environment.
• Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Single Sign-On.
• Configure and customize Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes.
• Develop Salesforce solutions on Salesforce Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Communities, or Knowledge.
• Utilize Agile processes, principles, and techniques to create, verify, document, and implement business and technical solutions on Salesforce.
• Train and mentor junior developers (a plus).
