About The Position

The Salesforce Developer is a hybrid administrator-and-developer role supporting the company’s Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Account Engagement implementations. The role contributes to solution design, automation, custom development, and the ongoing health of the Salesforce organization. Solutions should prioritize out-of-the-box and declarative functionality before custom code, and should be clean, scalable, and maintainable, with careful consideration of data architecture and downstream impacts. The position also supports integrations connecting Salesforce with other business systems, including NetSuite, billing, and other platforms. As part of the Enterprise Systems team, the developer takes ownership of the quality of flows, code, and documentation, continually develops Salesforce expertise, and provides guidance to less technical team members. The role is based in India within a globally distributed team and requires availability as needed for meetings that overlap with Pacific business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time).

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on Salesforce experience spanning both administration and development.
  • Proven expertise in declarative automation, particularly Flow Builder, as a first-choice solution.
  • Solid Apex development skills, including bulkification, trigger frameworks, and test class construction.
  • Experience configuring and developing Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, including Products, Pricing, and Quote configuration.
  • Ability to design and reason about data models, object relationships, and cross-object impacts.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and APIs, including REST/SOAP, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and External Services, and understanding of data flows between Salesforce and connected systems.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, including profiles, roles, permission sets, OWD, and sharing rules.
  • Critical-thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to assess trade-offs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Availability as needed for team meetings overlapping with Pacific business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time).
