About The Position

emergiTEL is hiring a Salesforce Developer for a financial client to support a Salesforce–DocuSign API migration. The role involves updating a custom integrated workflow between Salesforce and DocuSign, including refactoring backend code and modernizing integrations.

The developer will optimize enterprise Apex classes, triggers, and batch jobs to remap legacy managed-package objects and fields to a new target framework while maintaining like-for-like parity. They will modernize custom SOAP API callouts and authentication mechanisms into REST integrations using Salesforce Named Credentials, and maintain and validate bidirectional data flows, JSON/XML payload parsing, and event/status listeners between external platforms and Salesforce.

The role also includes developing Apex tests and HTTP mock callouts, validating end-to-end integration flows in sandboxes, and supporting deployment readiness ahead of code-freeze deadlines. The position is a four-month contract with a possible extension and is listed as 100% remote in Calgary/Edmonton, Alberta.

Requirements

• Senior Salesforce Developer experience with a deep focus on custom backend integrations, Apex architecture, and REST web services.
• Salesforce Apex coding skills.
• Salesforce Lightning Web Components skills.
• REST API development skills.

• Direct experience with DocuSign implementations.
