Position Summary The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, test, and implement customized Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and system administrators, to ensure the effective use of the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce development, problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.
  • Have done a Salesforce CPQ implementation
  • Experience with integrating Partner Community with Quoting
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, best practices, and optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., SFDX, Change Sets, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required).
  • Proficiency in source control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Advanced programming skills in Apex, SOQL, and JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to design scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Work cooperatively with others within the organization and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Work well in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
  • Has predictable, reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Heroku, or other middleware tools.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and data management best practices.
  • Experience in delivering Salesforce solutions in large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning web components, and integrations.
  • Act as a technical expert, guiding best practices, code standards, and design decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
  • Implement Salesforce customizations using declarative tools (Flows) and programmatic solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, or other tools.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and company standards.
  • Identify areas of improvement within the Salesforce instance and recommend optimizations to enhance system performance.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, perform debugging, and support deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions, integrations, and system processes.
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to understand priorities and deliver timely solutions.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new tools, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
