Salesforce Developer

Versapay
•$70,000 - $90,000•Remote

About The Position

Versapay is a remote-first organization across the U.S. and Canada that builds cloud-based accounts receivable solutions. Salesforce is a mission-critical enterprise platform managed with an emphasis on architectural discipline, governance, and long-term sustainability. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with the platform team and business stakeholders to keep the platform scalable, secure, and reliable in a mature, integration-aware environment. This is an individual contributor position with shared ownership of Salesforce platform delivery. The developer will lead assigned integration design, development, and ongoing health work, collaborate with vendor and partner technical teams, translate business needs into supportable designs, and build error handling, monitoring, and documentation for payment-adjacent workflows. The role calls for independent execution and close partnership with the team and business stakeholders. The position is a permanent, full-time, in-house role focused on a single Salesforce org. Versapay encourages AI-assisted work and values curiosity about using AI in development, together with sound judgment in validating its output.

  • Serve as the technical point of contact in vendor and partner conversations from scoping through go-live and ongoing support.
  • Reduce technical debt in legacy integration code and improve performance, testability, and supportability.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and support structured release, validation, and version-control practices.
  • Investigate integration issues, coordinate across teams and vendors, and drive assigned workstreams toward resolution.
  • Communicate technical designs to engineers and business outcomes to stakeholders, adapting communication to the audience.
