Salesforce Data Migration Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Migration Engineer to support the migration, transformation, validation, and integration of data into Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Salesforce data migration, ETL processes, data quality, and large-scale data environments. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, one of the states supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. No relocation assistance provided. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce data migration or data engineering.
- Strong experience with Salesforce data models, APIs, Data Loader, and SOQL.
- Experience with ETL tools and data transformation processes.
- Experience with data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and quality management.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with large datasets and complex data migrations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Nice To Haves
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Data Architect, or Integration Architect.
- Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar technologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Experience migrating data from legacy applications into Salesforce.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps and automated migration processes.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute data migration strategies into Salesforce.
- Extract, transform, cleanse, map, and load data from legacy and external systems.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data migration workflows.
- Create data mapping specifications and transformation rules.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Support migration testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Develop and optimize integrations using Salesforce APIs and related technologies.
- Work with Salesforce Architects, Developers, and business stakeholders to resolve data issues.
- Support migration of large datasets while maintaining data integrity and system performance.
- Document migration processes, data mappings, procedures, and results.
