About The Position

The Salesforce & MuleSoft Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, Salesforce product teams, and MuleSoft integration teams. This role is responsible for translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements, ensuring end‑to‑end solution alignment across Salesforce (Sales, Service, Financial Services Cloud), MuleSoft, and downstream systems such as MAX Plus, MAX Legacy, EDW, and external partners. The BSA works in an Agile environment, supporting feature delivery, integrations, automation, and UAT readiness while actively managing dependencies, risks, and cross‑team coordination.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technical BSA in an Agile environment.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSC preferred).
  • Strong experience working with MuleSoft integrations, APIs, and middleware concepts.
  • Proven ability to document technical requirements, data mappings, and integration flows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting large‑scale integration programs (Salesforce ↔ MuleSoft ↔ Legacy systems).
  • Familiarity with Copado, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce release management.
  • Banking, financial services, or regulated‑industry experience.
  • Experience supporting UAT, regression testing, and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications suitable for Salesforce and MuleSoft development teams.
  • Support feature decomposition from epics through stories, ensuring clarity, completeness, and testability.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce and MuleSoft architects to define and validate integration designs, data mappings, and event‑driven workflows.
  • Document source‑to‑target mappings, API contracts, and integration dependencies across Casca, MuleSoft, Salesforce (MAX Plus), and legacy systems.
  • Ensure integration requirements align with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, ensuring stories are well‑defined, estimated, and ready for sprint planning.
  • Actively manage backlog health, prioritization, and dependencies across Salesforce and MuleSoft workstreams.
  • Identify, track, and escalate risks, issues, and blockers to delivery leadership and Scrum teams.
  • Partner with QA, automation, and UAT teams to support test planning, regression scope definition, and UAT readiness.
  • Assist with UAT execution, defect triage, and coordination between business users and technical teams.
  • Support release planning, cutover readiness, and post‑release validation activities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for requirements clarification and scope alignment across business, Salesforce, and MuleSoft teams.
  • Participate in design reviews, ARB/tech sign‑offs, and cross‑team working sessions.
  • Provide regular status updates on requirements readiness, risks, and delivery progress.
