About The Position

Langley Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Salesforce Administrator to work a hybrid schedule from their City Center Corporate Office in Newport News, VA. The Salesforce Administrator will serve as the overall administrator and support liaison for the Salesforce platform. This role involves designing and implementing effective business processes and workflows, customizing objects and fields, and optimizing service delivery through workflow development. The administrator will partner with stakeholders and vendors on major implementations and initiatives, and collaborate with member experience teams to enhance member services. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional and technical experience).
  • Two years’ experience as a Certified Salesforce Administrator.
  • Experience deploying software such as a CRM using an agile development approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provides expertise for all Salesforce user-related issues and questions.
  • Ensures optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.
  • Upgrades and configures Salesforce systems for optimized integration.
  • Designs and implements effective business processes and workflows using standard objects and fields in addition to customizing objects and fields (including formula fields), page layouts, security rules, workflow, and validation rules.
  • Creates, sets, maintains, monitors, and reports on internal SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Creates and customizes reports and dashboards.
  • Completes administrative functions within the Salesforce platform.
  • Monitors and audits user rights and license usage.
  • Facilitates meetings and guides conversations to identify requirements and explore what is possible.
  • Completes regular system audits and promotes data integrity, data governance, and compliance.
  • Defines system roles and user rights in conjunction with Information Security.
  • Prepares for release testing and works with Business Support to coordinate.
  • Works with teams across the credit union, in conjunction with Business Support, to coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new enhancement requests.
  • Oversees the Salesforce data feeds and integrations for accuracy in conjunction with business partners.
  • Conducts user acceptance and usability testing of new features to ensure effective and efficient flows. Prepares test procedures, scripts, and test data. Documents testing outcomes and recommendations.
  • Creates system and end-user documentation.
  • Understands system and usage performance metrics. Collaborates effectively toward designing improvements and optimizing member experience.
  • Develops business user requirements, system documentation, and change management plans following proper change management procedures.
  • Coordinates Salesforce training, documentation, and guidance as needed.
  • Follows proper change management procedures.
  • Responds in a timely fashion to end users’ needs and support tickets.
  • Diagnoses and resolves user technical problems, involving Business Support as needed.
  • Serves as an advocate for Langley members and employees, particularly with respect to supporting staff in the delivery of the member experience.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with business areas to align strategic goals, strategy, and tactical plans.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
