About The Position

Abnormal AI is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to manage the day-to-day Salesforce administrative ticket queue and backlog. This role involves taking ownership of tickets, scoping work, implementing declarative fixes, and clearing backlog while supporting cross-functional teams like Marketing Operations. The position is administration-focused, utilizing Salesforce's declarative tools such as Flow, validation rules, page layouts, and permission sets, rather than coding. The administrator will collaborate with systems and Marketing Operations teams to prioritize the backlog and escalate complex issues requiring deeper platform or security expertise.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience in a production, multi-user org
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required
  • Strong declarative configuration skills: Flow, validation rules, permission sets, page layouts, record types, and reports/dashboards
  • Demonstrated ability to work a high-volume ticket queue: prioritization, resolution, and clear communication with non-technical requesters
  • Experience supporting Sales and/or Marketing Operations stakeholders in Salesforce (campaign infrastructure, routing, lead/contact management)
  • Ability to scope and estimate work and communicate realistic timelines to requesters

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ from an end-user or configuration perspective
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development or documentation tools
  • Experience building or using internal automation/AI tooling to speed up support workflows
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Salesforce administrative ticket queue and backlog from end to end, including scoping complexity, prioritizing, and shipping resolutions for Sales Ops and cross-functional GTM stakeholders.
  • Serve as the dedicated Salesforce point of contact for top-of-funnel workstreams, supporting needs like campaign infrastructure and lead/contact routing and personalization.
  • Build and maintain declarative solutions using clicks-not-code, including Flow, validation rules, page layouts, record types, permission sets, and reports/dashboards.
  • Provide fast, accurate day-to-day Salesforce support to end users across the GTM organization.
  • Utilize and evolve AI-assisted tooling to accelerate requirements gathering and solution design, and to maintain current documentation and end-user guides.
  • Escalate requests that require custom development, platform security changes, or integration work to the appropriate specialist.
  • Monitor and report on backlog health, including ticket volume, aging, and throughput, flagging capacity risks before they become bottlenecks.
