About The Position

The Salesforce Administrator is an essential member of the Technology Department and is responsible for maintaining, improving, and supporting users on the organization’s Salesforce instance. This position will be expected to build enhancements based on end-user feedback, identify automations, and serve as an advisor for business process optimization. This position provides day-to-day technical assistance as well as owns large-scale process improvements, seamlessly managing deadlines and urgent tasks. Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce Administrator experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • System Administration & Maintenance: Maintain and optimize Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack instance, including integrations (Pardot, SproutSocial, DocGen, FormAssembly, QGiv, VolunteerHub, Sage). Run Salesforce backup and proactively monitor system maintenance (Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, Optimizer).
  • Data Management: Manage large sets of data, perform bulk migrations, and initiate data quality sweeps. Design and implement efficient data flow using rules and automation to ensure integrity and hygiene. Build and maintain a Data Dictionary documenting objects, fields, data types, and integrations.
  • User Support: Respond to end-user issues, troubleshoot root causes, and resolve within Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Interview end-users to identify operational needs and validate technical requirements. Manage user permissions and access levels, regularly auditing for privacy and license usage.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support executive decision-making.
  • Training & Documentation: Administer staff training to onboard new users, build engagement, and launch new processes. Establish and maintain up-to-date, user-friendly support documents adapted to user feedback.
  • Strategic Planning & Innovation: Produce innovative solutions based on validated technical and operational needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals through CRM enhancements.
