About The Position

Nordstrom is hosting a Hiring Event on Thursday, June 11th, from 11 am to 5 pm at the Washington Square Store. This event is an opportunity to interview for Sales Positions in various departments, including Beauty, Women's Apparel, Men's Shoes, Accessories, Kids Apparel & Shoes. On-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. If you cannot attend the event, your application will still be considered. Requirements

Ability to handle merchandise and assist customers.
Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds [Stock/Logistics Only].

Responsibilities

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds [Stock/Logistics Only].
