About The Position

BMW North Scottsdale, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring Valets, also called Porters or Lot Attendants, to support dealership operations. The role involves moving vehicles as needed and keeping the showroom and display lots neat and orderly. It offers an opportunity to gain experience and learn how an automotive dealership operates in state-of-the-art facilities.

The position works standard business hours, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. The work is performed in a covered area and outdoors at times, where employees may encounter heat, cold, hazards, and noise. The physical demands include lifting, pulling, or pushing objects and performing a range of movements such as standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and grasping.

Requirements

• Able to safely drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Good communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-form instructions.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within provided instructions and standard practices.
• Ability to interact well with others and work effectively in a team and with a diverse group of people.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, or 10 pounds constantly.
• Ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp.
• Ability to talk and hear.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
