About The Position

Shelor Motor Mile is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Upgrade Program Specialist to assist current service customers with upgrading to a newer vehicle. This role focuses on engaging customers visiting our service department, reviewing their current vehicle situation, and presenting trade-up opportunities that provide value and convenience. The ideal candidate is professional in appearance, comfortable using computers and dealership systems, and confident communicating with customers face-to-face.

Requirements

  • Professional appearance and business-appropriate attire required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers in a customer-facing environment.
  • Computer literate and able to learn dealership software systems.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers visiting the service department and introduce upgrade opportunities.
  • Review customers’ current vehicles and explain potential upgrade options.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle values, benefits of upgrading, and available inventory.
  • Work closely with the sales and service teams to identify potential upgrade candidates.
  • Use dealership computer systems and tools to track customer interactions and opportunities.
  • Provide a positive, professional, and customer-focused experience.
  • Follow up with customers regarding vehicle upgrade opportunities.
