Sales Trainee - Industrial

About The Position

As a Sales Trainee, you will learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training sessions and hands-on learning. Trainees are exposed to all areas of the business, receive specialized training, and gain an overview of the industry before transitioning into a sales role. The position pays an expected $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
A 2- or 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
Rotate through different areas of the business, including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional processes, and project processes.
