About The Position
At DICK’S Sporting Goods, the Sales Teammate helps athletes find products that support their sport, activity, and lifestyle. The role delivers personalized service and product knowledge, assists with product selection, maintains merchandising and presentation standards, and builds connections with athletes. Sales Teammates work collaboratively to support sales results and help athletes feel confident in their purchases.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Greet athletes, identify their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Educate athletes about product features and benefits to support confident purchasing decisions.
- Support sales results through effective selling behaviors, basket-building techniques, and promotion of company programs, including loyalty memberships, protection plans, and credit offerings.
- Collaborate with teammates across the store and contribute to store goals and operational excellence.
- Represent the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping athletes achieve their goals.
- Maintain strong merchandising and presentation standards.
