About The Position

The Sales Team Lead – Southeast Region is responsible for delivering business results and building strong, sustained relationships with key customers across the region. This role oversees the Publix and Ahold Delhaize retail businesses, representing Flora Food Group’s full portfolio. This leader manages and develops a team of 3 (Key Account Managers and/or a Sales Analyst) and oversees agency partners as needed. You will partner closely with Category Management, Supply Chain, Shopper Marketing, Finance, and Marketing to deliver joint goals. The Team Lead will translate Flora Food Group’s commercial strategy into customer-specific Joint Business Plans that drive sustainable, profitable growth across the Southeast Region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of customer management experience with a strong track record of commercial delivery.
  • Experience with major grocery retailers required.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting financials, POS, and market data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and sales planning tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings, internal meetings, and key industry events.

  • Publix or Ahold Delhaize experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a Gross sales of $100 mil dollar sales region through multiple customers along the East Coast of the US.
  • Deliver profit, volume, distribution, share, and promotional KPIs for the Southeast Region.
  • Lead customer strategy, planning, and execution for Publix and Ahold Delhaize and all other regional Grocery East Coast Accounts.
  • Provide input and strategy recommendations for the US business as a key member of the Sales Leadership team.
  • Build strategic Joint Business Plans aligned to Flora Food Group’s growth priorities.
  • Strengthen relationships with key customer contacts across merchandising, replenishment, and category teams.
  • Negotiate trade terms, programs, and agreements to maximize ROI.
  • Leverage insights from brand, category, and shopper data to inform recommendations.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of 3 direct reports, driving high performance and capability growth.
  • Oversee third-party agency partners to ensure excellence in-store execution.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to achieve service, forecast accuracy, and waste mitigation targets.
  • Collaborate with Category Management and Shopper Marketing to activate high-impact plans.
  • Share best practices across the broader Sales organization.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, planning, and reporting within all sales systems.
