About The Position

The Sales Team Associate completes in-store food and non-food demonstrations, represents and promotes products, engages consumers, and sells products professionally. The role includes learning about represented products, preparing and serving samples, setting up event tables, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, and building rapport with store personnel. Associates may travel between stores and work in a retail store environment. The position requires a professional, neat, and appropriately groomed appearance; tattoos must not be visible during work assignments.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Food Safety Certificate.
High communication skills, including the ability to hear, speak, and understand spoken language and to communicate effectively with others.
Ability to read, write, analyze, interpret, and understand English and Spanish sufficiently to follow written job-related materials and equipment instructions.
Must be able to drive from store to store.
Ability to stand for up to four hours at a time, walk, handle and feel objects, reach overhead, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb including a 6-foot ladder, and balance.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart weighing up to 300 pounds.
Ability to prepare foods with cooking utensils and equipment, including knives, convection ovens, fryers, coffee makers, and microwaves, and to work with hot oils.
Ability to be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Must maintain a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed professional appearance; tattoos must not be visible during work assignments.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Set up and prepare the event table for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports according to company policy.
Use graphic aids such as charts, slides, or films to facilitate demonstrations, when applicable.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
