About The Position

The Sales Team Associate completes in-store food and non-food product demonstrations. The associate learns about represented products, serves samples, engages consumers, explains product features and benefits, and sells products professionally. The role also includes preparing event tables, maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe workstation, and building rapport with store personnel to support company and client objectives. The associate may use graphic aids during demonstrations, helps prepare for client visits and address audit corrections, completes expense reports according to company policy, and performs other work-related duties as assigned. This position works in a retail store environment with some travel, including driving from store to store. The associate must maintain a professional, neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance and follow retailer dress-code requirements; tattoos must not be visible during work assignments. The role requires preparing and serving food samples, using cooking utensils and small appliances, and handling cleaning supplies.

Requirements

High communication skills.
Ability to hear, speak, and understand spoken English and Spanish to respond to pages, accommodate customer requests, answer telephones, and communicate effectively.
Ability to read, write, analyze, interpret, and understand English and Spanish sufficiently to use equipment and tool instructions, company documents, and other job-related written materials.
Ability to drive from store to store.
Ability to prepare and serve food samples using cooking utensils and equipment, including knives, convection ovens, fryers, coffee makers, and microwaves.
Ability to maintain a safe workstation while in contact with cleaning supplies and hot oils.
Ability to stand for up to four hours at a time; walk; handle and feel objects; reach, including overhead; talk and hear; read instructions and perform events; stoop; kneel; crouch; climb, including a six-foot ladder; and balance.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push and pull a fully laden wheeled demonstration cart weighing up to 300 pounds.
Professional, neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance; tattoos must not be visible during work assignments.
High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, as described in the posting.
Verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Drive from store to store.
