About The Position

Devil Mountain Wholesale Nursery is seeking a dependable Sales Support professional to assist Sales Representatives, support front counter operations, and help ensure smooth daily business operations. This role serves as a key support partner to the Sales Team by preparing estimates, entering orders, assisting customers, and providing backup coverage to the front office as needed. The Sales Support position also collaborates across departments to resolve order issues, maintain inventory accuracy, and support operational initiatives. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and a customer-first mindset.

Requirements

2+ years of office or administrative experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to transition between indoor and outdoor environments

Nice To Haves

Sales support or front counter experience
Nursery, landscape, or related industry experience
Experience with POS and inventory systems
Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

Answer and transfer incoming calls and assist with basic customer inquiries
Prepare estimates and enter customer orders for Sales Representatives
Provide reliable backup coverage to the front counter
Assist customers in the yard with plant inspections and product selection as needed
Support order follow-up and help resolve quality or delivery issues
Review incoming shipments and organize pending sales orders
Complete customer requests for product photos and specifications
Support inventory tasks including label printing and stock counts
Perform accurate cash handling and register reconciliation
Assist with cross-departmental projects and operational initiatives
