About The Position

This is a full-time, entry-level Sales Support position based at Fastenal’s branch at 2413 Advance Rd, Madison, Wisconsin. The role provides customer assistance in a fast-paced environment and involves sales, customer service, inventory, order processing, shipping and receiving, and deliveries using a company vehicle. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a current, full, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet the driving record requirements for use of a company vehicle as needed.
Possess or be working toward a degree in Business or Marketing, or have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Show a strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen where applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Guam.
