Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in marketing, business administration, or a related field of study; or equivalent related experience.
  • Current Life & Health Insurance License preferred. If not currently licensed, ability to obtain within 45 days of employment is required.
  • Ability to obtain additional licenses in the future, if necessary.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge of retirement products.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external resources.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to successfully handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to maintain valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource for financial advisors regarding Eagle Life products, value proposition, and procedures.
  • Strengthen relationships with external business partners.
  • Identify prospecting opportunities and gather data.
  • Assist wholesaling teams with marketing campaigns and special projects.
  • Respond to inbound calls regarding annuity pre-sale and post-sale questions, needs, and concerns.
  • Assist internal and external business partners with Eagle websites, annuity illustration software, sales and marketing programs, product questions, Customer Excellence procedures, pre-sale requirements, and in-force annuity service matters.
  • Provide superior customer service by meeting department metrics for Aux time, talk time, and call-quality assurance.
  • Maintain knowledge of Customer Excellence, Suitability, and other departments' procedures impacting financial advisors.
  • Proactively ask probing questions for data gathering and prospecting.
  • Provide lead opportunities to External and Internal Wholesalers.
  • Assist Eagle Life wholesaling teams by driving attendance to conference dinners, CE breakouts, and regional events via outbound calls.
  • Provide feedback to direct manager and stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Eagle products, strategies, systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Generate ideas and help create messaging for marketing and sales.
  • Stay current on investment strategies and trends in the financial industry.
  • Perform other related work as assigned.
