About The Position

A Sales Support Specialist will specialize in assisting our outside sales team with day to day processes and procedures while also supplying happiness to those around them! This role involves supporting the local sales team with various administrative and operational tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations, and contributing to a positive team environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a team player, and possesses strong communication skills. Responsibilities include managing deliveries, processing returns, updating quotes, creating jobs in the system, and assisting with material overages/shortages. The role also involves facilitating change orders, warranty repairs, and handling rollover calls. A keen eye for detail and process improvement is valued, with opportunities to train and motivate new team members as you grow.

Responsibilities

• Typing up and scheduling delivery of materials
• Printing start packets (floor plans, i-joist, truss layouts, etc.)
• Scheduling returns
• Updating quotes with current pricing to resubmit
• Creating jobs in the system and locking in quotes
• Daily use and navigation of “point of sales” systems, computers and spreadsheets
• Attending daily Quarterback huddles to guide workload and duties
• Support with and help navigate overages and shortages of materials
• Assist in facilitating change orders & warranty/service repairs for internal/external customers
• Support the local sales team with rollover calls
• Assist in training and motivating new team members
