Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, organization, attention to detail, and customer service excellence are essential for the daily operations of the Sales Support Specialist.
  • Proficiency in Excel allows the specialist to analyze sales data, create reports, and manage customer information efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills enable the individual to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring that all customer inquiries and orders are handled in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining strict attention to detail is critical in this role, as it helps prevent errors in order processing and record-keeping.
  • A commitment to customer service excellence ensures that all interactions with clients are positive, fostering long-term relationships and contributing to the sales team's overall success.
  • Must be willing and able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in preparing estimates and quotations for large and complex projects as well as smaller service-related projects.
  • Interpret and analyze customer inquiries which may vary broadly in nature. Gather information and prepare quotes in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and sales records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to support the sales team in decision-making.
