About The Position

Perform exceptional customer service and administrative job duties to support branch operations. Greet, assist, and direct customers to the appropriate branch staff while providing professional and courteous customer service. Accurately verify, update, and process customer orders in a timely manner, including order status, payment methods, and invoicing. Effectively schedule customer deliveries and prepare shipping documentation. Perform end-of-day cashiering duties accurately and on time, including processing reports, deposits, petty cash transactions, and daily balancing activities. Maintain accurate records through system entries and updates. Process vendor invoices and other general administrative transactions. Coordinate with team members and communicate effectively to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities. Review and process tax exemption certificates and ensure compliance with applicable sales and use tax regulations. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned processes. Monitor and verify transactions for errors, perform daily balancing of funds, and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of administrative support experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to process financial and administrative transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including calculators, fax machines, copiers, and related equipment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply state tax laws as they relate to material transactions is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
