About The Position

The Sales Support Associate represents Ulterra with professionalism and integrity while supporting field and office teams. The role helps maintain shop operations, supports inventory logistics, covers field sales areas as needed, and facilitates communication among sales, operations, and logistics to provide strong customer service. The position works primarily in a shop or field environment and requires an emphasis on safety. Work may involve outdoor weather, loud noise, moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles. The role also includes physical activity such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing; visual acuity and hand and finger dexterity; and moving items weighing 30 pounds routinely and up to 750 pounds with mechanical assistance.

Requirements

Basic reading and writing skills, along with advanced written and oral communication abilities.
Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Familiarity with GPS and digital mapping applications.
Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn intermediate-level digital tools.
Comfort with public speaking and customer engagement.
Maintain a professional appearance and follow grooming standards, including facial hair guidelines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize workload and manage tasks within a specified geographic area.
Comfort navigating programs similar to social media applications.
Reliable, steady thinking and strong problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to bend, stoop, sit, walk, talk, and hear regularly; visual acuity and hand and finger dexterity.
Ability to lift and move items weighing 30 pounds routinely and up to 750 pounds with mechanical assistance.
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales or related fields.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and eligibility to drive a company vehicle under the Company’s Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy.

Responsibilities

Provide operational and logistical support to sales representatives and district teams.
Represent Ulterra professionally in field and office environments.
Manage and organize shop inventory and ensure equipment is maintained in proper working condition.
Cover sales territories when field sales representatives are unavailable.
Assist with transferring inventory and equipment between sales and district locations.
Support communication between departments to address operational needs and customer opportunities.
Monitor and report customer feedback, issues, and service opportunities.
Coordinate priorities effectively within a defined geographic area.
Maintain accurate documentation of activities, transactions, and communications as required.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including assisting with shop tasks and supporting team initiatives.
Work with an emphasis on safety for oneself, coworkers, and third parties.
