About The Position

The Sales Support Associate ensures an organized, efficient, and customer-ready store by managing deliveries, maintaining accurate stock, and supporting daily floor replenishment and operational standards. This position supports Kate Spade New York’s retail operations and customer experience. The job duties and responsibilities listed are a sample and are not exhaustive.

Requirements

Previous retail service experience and a passion for retail and the service industry.
Excellent client service and communication skills; ability to maneuver the sales floor and engage multiple customers.
Strong communication skills and an elevated sense of personal style.
Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong English language proficiency (for EU).
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom.
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate.
Ability to multi-task, remain results-driven, and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

Manage and process inbound deliveries promptly; monitor and prioritize daily workload.
Organize and maintain accessibility of merchandise in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
Maintain knowledge of stock levels, unit counts, and sales performance.
Support floor moves and ensure the selling floor is consistently stocked throughout the day.
Execute price changes and markdowns as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization standards across the selling floor, stockroom, and offsite/warehouse.
Audit compliance and work toward achieving shrinkage goals.
