About The Position

Sales Specialists support three primary store priorities: Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. They provide fast, thorough, and friendly service by welcoming customers, assessing their needs, locating merchandise, explaining products and services, and making purchasing recommendations. They help maintain stock through stock-level assessments and light pack-down and pack-out activities. They also maintain an appealing shopping environment by ensuring products are displayed and signed, cleaning shelves, and removing debris from aisles and showrooms. These activities help drive sales and support department and store goals. Associates are responsible for maintaining a safe working and shopping environment by following safety policies and standards, completing required safety training, correcting or reporting hazards, and working safely to protect themselves and others.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide fast, thorough, and friendly service.
• Assess customer needs, locate merchandise, provide information about products and services, and make purchasing recommendations.
• Assess stock levels and perform light pack-down and pack-out activities as needed.
• Ensure products are displayed and signed, clean shelves, and remove debris from aisles and showrooms.
• Support department and store sales goals.
• Follow safety policies and standards and complete specified safety training.
• Immediately correct hazards and unsafe conditions or report them to the Manager On Duty.
• Work safely to avoid endangering oneself, coworkers, vendors, or customers.
