About The Position

Roofmart, Canada’s National distributor for Exterior Building Supply for Roofing, Siding, Metal and Building Envelope. With over 50 Roofmart locations across Canada, we are strategically positioned to handle all our customer needs. We are looking for Enthusiastic, Driven, Outside of the Box Thinkers to help us grow our business. Role: Sales Specialist Job Summary : Developing and managing relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of Roofmart's products

Requirements

Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
College Diploma or Degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3 or more years of successful Sales experience
Valid driver’s license
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
Authorized to work in Canada
Ability to travel

Responsibilities

Developing and managing relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of Company products
Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions for the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers
Defining, building, implementing and monitoring Sales Plan, including sales strategies, targets, and priorities
Creating action plans for defined sales targets and working with our suppliers to execute the plans
Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels
Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules
