About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic salesperson to join our Sales Solutions team as the Sales Solutions Specialist (Emerging Business). In this new role, the candidate will drive revenue growth for mid-market and small to medium-sized advertisers buying Netflix programmatically in the UCAN region. They will collaborate with programmatic channel partners (e.g., DSPs, resellers, aggregators) to accelerate demand and drive adoption from new advertisers - notably local advertisers and small agencies. This includes overseeing commercial activities that directly enable the growth of advertisers in this segment, including prospecting, pitch, upsell, optimization, retention, and renewal. This is a team of experts who curate and execute inventory strategies that enable emerging programmatic buyers to make investments that best address their campaign objectives. The ideal candidate will bring ad tech and programmatic industry expertise, data-driven problem-solving, and stellar communication skills. They should be a proven high-performer in a fast-paced, demanding environment. This role will ensure that advertisers of all sizes receive consultative, consistent engagement to drive business outcomes in a scalable, repeatable fashion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital advertising and client-facing roles with a focus on data analysis experience
  • Experience with annual brand and media planning; deep understanding of ad tech and programmatic advertising, industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in the programmatic landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-potential clients and grow programmatic demand for emerging accounts in order to meet or exceed sales targets; ensure client satisfaction to drive renewal and retention.
  • Consult with clients to identify the ideal strategy for their programmatic campaigns, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and client goals.
  • Collaborate with DSPs, aggregators, and resellers to maximize reach and revenue, create demand, and develop scaled mechanisms and playbooks to unlock new clients and grow high-potential opportunities.
  • Develop and scale best practices in a predictable and repeatable manner across partners to enhance discoverability and facilitate effective buying.
  • Identify trends and health of always-on deals, such as spend, net new advertisers, growth, churn, and accounts ready for ‘graduation’; use insights to improve deal curation strategy.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
