About The Position

The Sales Representative role is for individuals who thrive in an organization that values relationship building, quota smashing, and independent work. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an approachable and optimistic style, comfortable with healthy competition, influencing others, and a high volume of work. This role focuses on selling technology integration services and custom-engineered solutions to enterprise businesses. Responsibilities include prospecting, closing deals, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and managing the client lifecycle. The role also emphasizes developing and growing long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • Exceptional prospecting and closing skills.
  • Familiar with a 3-6 month sales cycle
  • Experience in one or more of the technologies we offer (access control, surveillance, structured cabling, audiovisual, wireless, etc.)
  • Enjoys working autonomously and is very self-motivated.
  • Strong and professional presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Commercial construction experience including new builds, renovations, and retrofits.
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state (approximate travel is 0-4 overnight trips per month).
  • A creative out-of-the-box thinker with good attention to detail
  • Acceptable MVR and valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • BICSI RCDD certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Utilize tech stack to develop a healthy, qualified pipeline and accurately forecast deals.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships.
  • Work with clients to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives, and needs and communicate those findings to relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Set proper customer expectations consistent with service offerings and delivery potential.
  • Coordinate the creation, review, and hand-off of proposals and scopes of work.
  • Understand, establish, and promote relationships with OEMs, channel partners, vendors, and other strategic partners.
  • Meet annual sales quota.
