Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Pharmacy
  • 1-3 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to deal with people who hold differing beliefs or values
  • Ability to handle the pressure of meeting productivity goals & deadlines
  • Fluent in English language
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and a team player
  • Holds a valid driving license

Responsibilities

  • Visit healthcare professionals to promote Ferring products following the set marketing strategy and approved frequency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in local, regional, and international scientific congresses.
  • Classify doctors and stakeholders based on segmentation and targeting criteria.
  • Propose additions, changes, or removals of doctors from files.
  • Track prescription habits, assess product perception and prescription potential, and evaluate influence on other doctors.
  • Inform healthcare professionals accurately about products, using marketing materials, clarifying doubts, handling objections, and highlighting product advantages over competitors.
  • Ensure other departments convey necessary information to doctors.
  • Gather market information on doctors' concerns, competitors, marketing strategy, and materials.
  • Obtain information on public tenders, competitor product launches, cost containment measures, and health authority instructions.
  • Transmit gathered market information to relevant parties.
  • Conduct market surveys for current and new products.
  • Propose territory activities (e.g., congress invitations, speaker participation, clinical sessions) to promote products ethically and ensure return on investment.
  • Organize approved proposals according to the assigned budget.
  • Manage the assigned budget, ensuring return on investment.
  • Follow up on product consumption in pharmacies and hospitals and monitor sales performance.
  • Inform line manager about daily activities and future plans.
  • Present expense reports and other requested documentation in a timely manner.
  • Keep detailed records of all contacts and visit details, potentially involving database management.
