About The Position

The primary responsibility is to maximize sales and distribution within an assigned territory and account base by executing planning, selling, delivery, marketing, merchandising, distribution, and reporting functions to achieve performance objectives.

Requirements

  • 2 years sales experience or 2 years of consumer goods experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to demonstrate professional sales and administration skills.
  • Must be goal-oriented and able to prioritize multiple goals and strategies.
  • Must be capable of time management, strategic planning, concise communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
  • Must be physically able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds of product regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize retail sales for assigned accounts through the implementation and execution of established sales, distribution, marketing, and supplier goals.
  • Develop a timely monthly plan to establish goals and strategically manage territory resources, talent, and time.
  • Complete a thorough month-end recap of actual performance results against objectives.
  • Execute strategic pricing standards, including competitive price to consumer, use of labels, shelf, display, POS, and window pricing.
  • Design and implement displays and marketing at retail that meet or exceed merchandising and retail standards, ensuring primary or high traffic flow locations, proper product representation, availability, reasonable quantities, current POS, accurate pricing, proper rotation, and timely setup.
  • Increase consumer awareness and purchase intent through proactive product distribution and shelf management, including selling for additional space, location, traffic flow, shelf tags, and facings.
  • Manage the quality of all Red Bull SKUs to ensure fresh, damage-free product is available for sale, practicing first-in, first-out rotation.
  • Utilize data (marketing, hand-held, build sheet) and strategic planning for proper forecasting, pre-selling, and inventory levels to maximize distribution and eliminate stock issues.
  • Conduct oneself in a manner that creates a favorable impression of Beverage South (SC), taking pride in personal appearance, actions, language, and attitude.
  • Show retailers care and treat each one as the most important, regardless of size.
  • Interact with all personnel in a professional manner.
  • Assist in the company's sales effort however possible.
  • Ensure adherence to all company safety rules and practices.
  • Adhere to all laws, rulings, and regulations.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisory and management personnel.
  • Report market activity, including competitor actions, price changes, account ownership changes, and placement gains or losses.
  • Complete requested reports accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance and adhere to all company and supplier dress requirements.
  • Help keep the Sales Office, POS Area, and other respective areas clean and organized.
  • Maintain the maintenance and appearance of the assigned vehicle.
