About The Position

FutureFit Home Modifications is hiring a full-time, remote Sales Representative who must be based in the Springfield area. The representative meets with homeowners and their families to understand mobility and safety needs and recommend accessibility-focused remodeling solutions. This is a consultative, relationship-based sales role focused on listening and helping customers make important decisions. Pay is $50K plus commission.

FutureFit specializes in accessibility home modifications and has over 20 years of experience helping families live safely at home. The company is a Class A Licensed General Contractor and a Certified Aging-in-Place business, is fully insured, and works alongside occupational and physical therapists.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience selling construction or home improvement services, such as remodeling, bath, or roofing services.
• Comfort with a consultative, relationship-first sales approach.
• Strong communication skills and empathy when working with seniors, people with disabilities, and their families.
• Ability to read plans, take measurements, and discuss project scope with customers.
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a personal schedule and territory.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations to assess accessibility needs and recommend solutions.
• Sell accessibility projects, including ramps, barrier-free showers, walk-in bathtubs, accessible bathroom vanities, and accessible kitchens.
• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals and guide customers from the first visit through signing a contract.
• Build relationships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, discharge planners, community organizations, and the VA.
• Follow up promptly on leads and manage the sales pipeline in the CRM.
• Coordinate with the production team to support a smooth hand-off and a positive customer experience.
