About The Position

Sleep Number is seeking a Sales Representative to help customers find products suited to their sleep needs and contribute to the company’s purpose of improving lives by personalizing sleep. This retail sales role delivers personalized customer experiences, builds customer relationships, and works toward individual and team sales goals. Team members work in a showroom, receive sales training and coaching, and have an opportunity to earn uncapped commission and bonuses.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
• A goal-oriented, customer-focused attitude and drive to exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• 1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer-facing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally in a commission-driven environment.
• Comfort using CRM systems, point-of-sale technology, and interactive sales tools such as iPads and apps.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.

• Collaborative attitude and openness to feedback and coaching.
• Tech-savvy and willing to adopt new technology.

Responsibilities

• Discover customers’ sleep needs and match them with suitable Sleep Number products.
• Explain product benefits and current promotions clearly while delivering personalized customer experiences that support customer satisfaction and sales goals.
• Nurture prospective customers through outbound calls and build relationships that generate repeat and new business.
• Help maintain a polished showroom and provide an exceptional store experience.
• Participate in sales practice training and coaching to develop sales skills.
