Requirements

Solid track record of building customer relationships
Strong ability to provide proactive communication with others (both written and oral)
Self-motivated, organized, and goal oriented with a drive for success
Ability to develop new business while maintaining existing accounts
Provide a meticulous attention to detail
Strong follow-up skills
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a larger team.
Proficient in MS Office products, Salesforce.com CRM, and Ross ERP
Efficient in email and internet applications.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience of 1-3 years of sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

Develop customer relationships in assigned territory, both for Asher’s Chocolate Co. and the brokerage lines of Robert Asher Associates
Identify new sales opportunities and develop new accounts
Follow up on leads and samples
Work closely with our internal sales, customer service and operational teams.
Visit key customers in designated sales territory as needed.
Develop and maintain thorough product knowledge of Asher’s Chocolate Co. as well as companies represented by Robert Asher Associates
Maintain up-to-date customer information in Salesforce.com
Pursue leads received from outside inquiries and trade shows
Work closely with other departments to understand the product and business
Responsible for submitting weekly Sales Report for Asher’s Chocolate Co, as well as field reports for brokerage lines upon request
Represent Asher’s at several trade shows and events throughout the year
