About The Position

Microbiome Labs, a pioneer in gut health and part of Novonesis, is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to expand its presence in the healthcare market. This field-based role involves owning sales performance within an assigned territory, developing relationships with healthcare professionals, clinics, and wellness centers. The representative will act as a trusted advisor, connecting microbiome science with patient benefits and driving ambitious growth targets. The position offers the opportunity to accelerate product adoption, build strong practitioner relationships, and directly contribute to improving patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving territory growth
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to identify, pursue, and close new business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to translate scientific concepts into clear, compelling insights for customers
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage a territory independently
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50–70% within the assigned region

  • Experience working with clinics, wellness centers, or healthcare practitioners
  • Experience leading or supporting educational events (e.g., workshops, conferences, lunch-and-learns)
  • Strong interest in microbiome science, gut health, or evidence-based wellness solutions
  • Experience leveraging CRM insights to improve pipeline health, forecasting, and account planning

Responsibilities

  • Drive territory growth by prospecting, identifying, and developing new healthcare professional (HCP) accounts
  • Execute strategic territory plans to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with healthcare practitioners through regular engagement and follow-up
  • Deliver compelling product presentations, clinical discussions, and educational sessions (both in-person and virtual)
  • Develop deep expertise in Microbiome Labs’ portfolio and stay current on industry trends
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Track and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities and optimize territory strategy
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer experience
