The Field Sales Representative is responsible for sales, distribution, and retail execution in an assigned area. This includes managing distributor relationships, educating and motivating representatives to gain new distribution, building sales, and improving chain execution. The objective is to maximize the sales and distribution of all company products in the assigned territory through the establishment and appropriate execution of local and national sales programs and initiatives. This role requires applying a sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence, executing promotional programs with key partners, and aggressively identifying, targeting, and marketing to existing and potential accounts. Building share of mind with distributors through regular meetings, keeping them informed of company initiatives, and tracking performance is crucial. The representative will also promote the 'Multiplier Effect' by training and motivating distributor sales reps on product knowledge, sales techniques, and promotions. Developing strong relationships with key retailers, coordinating marketing crew drives, and creating/executing marketing promotions with customers, festivals, and events are also key responsibilities. Utilizing distributor data to identify opportunities and recording daily sales activity and weekly results are required. The role involves meeting sales goals set by the Regional Sales Director and collaborating with various internal teams to achieve success at retail.
