About The Position

The Sales Representative Merchandiser (SRM) is responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring effective in-store execution across assigned retail accounts. This role combines sales, merchandising, and customer relationship management to optimize product availability, visibility, and overall performance. The SRM partners with store personnel to identify opportunities, place orders, execute promotional initiatives, and maintain high merchandising standards in alignment with company guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, merchandising, or retail (CPG preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to travel daily within assigned territory
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Experience in direct store delivery environments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned territory and execute daily store visits according to established routes and schedules
  • Drive sales by identifying opportunities, recommending orders, and supporting promotional programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key decision-makers
  • Ensure product availability through effective shelf stocking, backroom management, and inventory rotation
  • Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, secondary displays, and point-of-sale (POS) materials
  • Monitor and ensure pricing accuracy, promotional execution, and overall in-store conditions
  • Track and report out-of-stock items, returns, and other inventory-related issues
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of store visits, activities, and performance using company systems
  • Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory and support customer onboarding when applicable
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
