About The Position

The Sales Representative II is a highly experienced sales professional responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, expanding market share, and driving profitable growth within an assigned territory. This role serves as a trusted business advisor to customers by providing consultative solutions, identifying complex business opportunities, and developing long-term account strategies that deliver measurable value. In addition to managing key customer relationships, this role provides leadership through mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and sharing industry expertise to support the overall success of the sales organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of successful outside sales, account management, or consultative sales experience
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex customer portfolios and high-revenue territories
  • Proven ability to develop long-term customer strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Strong business acumen with experience negotiating pricing, contracts, and customer agreements
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and active listening skills
  • Ability to influence executive-level customer decision makers and navigate complex sales cycles
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales enablement tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and business data
  • Ability to independently prioritize competing demands while effectively managing a large territory
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory and visit customer locations, including environments with potentially hazardous substances

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key and high-value customers within an assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed sales, profitability, and market share objectives through strategic territory management
  • Lead complex sales opportunities by identifying customer challenges and delivering consultative, value-driven solutions
  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account growth strategies focused on revenue, profitability, and customer retention
  • Identify opportunities to adopt new products, introduce new solutions, and increase wallet share across existing accounts
  • Conduct executive-level customer meetings, business reviews, product demonstrations, and solution presentations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on industry trends, regulatory updates, market conditions, and competitive activity
  • Collaborate with supplier partners, technical specialists, branch teams, and internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive customer solutions
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools to maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, customer activity, and business planning
  • Analyze sales performance, pricing strategies, and profitability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Proactively prospect for new strategic accounts and support expansion into targeted market segments
  • Mentor and support less experienced sales representatives by sharing best practices, providing guidance, and assisting with complex customer situations
  • Represent Veseris professionally at industry events, customer meetings, trade shows, and networking opportunities
