About The Position

Krügel Cobbles, Inc., a well-established hardscape contractor in the Chicagoland North Shore area, is seeking a Sales Representative specializing in hardscapes and outdoor living solutions. Founded in 1982, the company has grown significantly and completes 160-170 projects annually. As a family-owned business that has recently rebranded, Krügel Cobbles is expanding its market presence while maintaining its reputation for craftsmanship. This role offers strong earning potential and long-term opportunities for driven sales professionals. The Sales Representative will be the primary contact for prospective clients, guiding them from initial consultation to project completion. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to understand and translate client needs into functional outdoor living solutions, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a base plus commission opportunity with a starting base range of $55,000 to $65,000 annually, plus significant commission potential.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales experience in a service-based industry required
  • Experience working with and selling to high-end clientele is required
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and translate client needs
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience in construction/landscaping is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their outdoor living vision, assess site conditions, and discuss project goals
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and manage customer inquiries with professionalism
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to meet individual and team sales targets
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, pricing estimates, and conceptual designs
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of estimating and proposals
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams
  • Maintain organized sales pipeline in CRM
  • Follow up consistently to close sales
  • Ensure a high-quality client experience
  • Participate in community and networking events
  • Perform other duties as assigned
