About The Position

This position is responsible for learning Sales operations and accountable for the prospecting, acquiring or renewing small group business for an assigned territory. Responsibilities include generating reports, completing Request for Proposals and providing support to clients/brokers. Accountable for meeting renewal goals/new sales goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree.
• Must have State Insurance License or obtain State Insurance License within 90 days.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience making presentations to groups.
• Analytical and math skills.
• PC proficiency and skills to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel including overnight stays.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• 1 year of Customer Service, Account Management or Sales experience.
• Experience in customer service and/or sales unit working in life and disability sales in a position which requires self-direction, initiative, and decision-making.
• Negotiation skills.
