The role involves conducting training sessions for new employees, covering sales and delivery on-the-job training. The Trainer/Utility role collaborates with management and job experts to identify training needs and develop training plans. Responsibilities include formulating training plans, conducting training using various methods, assisting employees with task-related problems, selecting or developing teaching aids, evaluating trainee progress, and reporting on employee development. Additionally, the role involves quoting prices, credit terms, coordinating sales contracts, driving trucks to deliver beverage products, recording sales and delivery information, and traveling through assigned territories to solicit orders and new business.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Ability to drive a truck to deliver beverage product to customer’s place of business in highway, rural and city street conditions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Ability to record sales, delivery and variance information on daily sales or delivery record.
Ability to travel through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and new business, prepare sales contracts and interface with customers on location or by phone.

Responsibilities

Conducts training sessions covering new employee orientation and specified areas of sales and delivery on-the-job training.
Collaborates with management and job experts to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training for employees to learn job skills and better understand changes in policies, procedures, and job standards.
Coordinates training schedule with the hiring and training demands of the position.
Formulates training plans and individual lesson plans for employees and conducts training using effective instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, and on-the-job training.
Assists employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions.
Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handouts, demonstration models and visual aids.
Evaluates and tests trainees to measure progress and effectiveness of training.
Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods and maintains records of training conducted.
Quotes prices and credit terms and coordinates sales contracts for orders obtained.
Drives truck to deliver beverage product to customer’s place of business in highway, rural and city street conditions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Records sales, delivery and variance information on daily sales or delivery record.
Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and new business, pre-pare sales contracts and interfaces with customers on location or by phone.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
