Genuine Work, a subsidiary of Weyland Ventures, is seeking a Sales and Property Manager to lead the organization. This role is responsible for the successful oversight, direction, and coordination of operations, sales and marketing, reputation management, and community engagement. The manager will focus on reputation and community engagement while building strong relationships with tenants, colleagues, capital partners, and community partners. A primary responsibility is to provide a presence and serve as the point person for managing the day-to-day operations of the co-working space, including managing any hourly teammates assigned to the space. Key areas of emphasis include daily inspections, preventative maintenance, vendor management, and team management. The role requires proactive collaboration to minimize revenue loss from commencement dates. This position generally works Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, but may vary based on business needs. The manager will provide day-to-day oversight to co-working tenants, covering areas such as housekeeping, maintenance, community management, and sales and marketing. Responsibilities include the preparation and timely submission of periodic reports as determined by the Corporate Director of Operations. The role is responsible for overall leasing for all co-working spaces and members, maintaining regular communication with tenants to ensure retention, and developing positive relationships with tenants and clients. The manager will address tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally, conduct periodic property inspections, and implement strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention. Monitoring lease renewals and coordinating renewal letters, and ensuring building-wide repair/maintenance projects are completed timely in coordination with Facilities Maintenance are also key duties. The role involves identifying and resolving problem areas for tenants, following up to confirm resolution, and maintaining ongoing communication to improve performance. Building strong professional relationships is crucial for occupancy and tenant/member enrollment and retention. The manager will communicate and coordinate with tenants/members regarding the operation and maintenance of shared building systems and common areas. A strong understanding of lease and membership terms, including economic points and responsibilities, is required. Ensuring compliance with operating requirements, hours of operation, and use clauses, and minimizing risk by monitoring and managing the space, including lease payments, are essential. The role also requires assuring compliance with contracts pertaining to assigned properties and maintaining positive relationships with the local community, including building a network of business partners and organizations to increase business to Genuine Work. Collaboration with marketing for on-site events, tenant partnerships, holiday operational needs, business development, or other income-generating opportunities is expected. Other duties as assigned.
